I highly recommend a film screening with Brian Kruger to any public library or appropriate venue. The Carson City Public Library has hosted three events with Mr. Kruger featuring his documentaries, Black and Blue; The Legend of Pinky Deras; and Where the Brave Dare to Tread. His beautifully made films bring to life little known historical events in Michigan that should not be forgotten, and pay tribute to Michiganders who made positive impacts on the people in their lives. Mr. Kruger is a very engaging and professional speaker/presenter. Our audiences have thoroughly enjoyed these programs! Many have asked, “when are you going to bring him back!” -Beth O’Grady Carson City Public Library
“Kruger has so much passion for the stories he’s uncovered, I could listen to him for hours. I really loved his visit, and hope he comes again. ” – Jean Spencer, Auroa, Indiana.
“I was surprised he would come to a library our size. We don’t get that sort of thing in our small town and he seemed to enjoy us as much as we enjoyed him!” – Jim Griffin, Carson City, Michigan.
“Our documentary film class found Brian’s talk on production, inspiration, and the technical aspects of filmmaking really informative and entertaining.” – Buddy Moorehouse, Hillsdale College.
“We loved having Brian come to show “Black and Blue” for our alumni club in Palm Springs. It was such an entertaining and informative evening, and we hope he comes back!” – UofM Alumni Club of West Palm Beach
